Why I Like Obama (or Do What You Love) July 25
There are many reasons that I prefer Obama to McCain; but there’s one that I think no one ever talks about:
Obama has fun.
Seriously, you see the media coverage of him and he’s always smiling. He seems like he is genuinely having a good time.
To me, it dosen’t seem that McCain is loving what he’s doing quite as much as Obama. And it shows.
This is a lesson we can all learn from. Have some fun. At the end of the day, win or lose, it seems to me that Obama will look back on his campaign and say “well that was a great experience that I really enjoyed.” We should all strive for this same feeling about our work.
(Of course, it doesn’t seem like Obama’s having too much fun or that he’s not taking his campaign seriously. There is definitly a balance here.)
