Hello,
Delighted to be the first in the Member Introductions forum. My name is Travis and I have been a member for several years now. I live in Central Kentucky, am 34 years old, married with 2 young children. I operate a solo ambulatory veterinary practice and I believe I owe a little of that to David and his teachings. I thought I knew what I was talking about when it came to personal finance and investing until I listened to Episode 1. I enjoy reading the forums and hearing about others experiences and opinions. As always, thanks to David for his diligence and hard work.

Thanks Travis. By solo ambulatory vet practice, does that means you make house calls?
Yes, I am Equine only. Everything I do is on the farm. If it requires more intensive care the patient is referred to one of the area hospitals.
Travis, I’m just curious, what is the most common problem that horses have that you treat in your practice?
Jane, upper respiratory infections and colic. The Equine GI tract is part monogastric and part ruminant, it’s a system that was made by committee and is prone to issues.
