MNY036 Plus: Pockets of Wealth and Three Investment Legs

December 27, 2014 by David Stein

In this week’s Money For the Rest of Us Plus episode, I discuss how as we get monetary wealth our time wealth and mobile wealth can fluctuate. In other words, we might have pockets of time when we can travel and then return to working.

I also sharing the three legs of investing and their hierarchy.

Diversification comes first, followed by adjusting our exposure to stocks based on market conditions. Finding undervalued baskets of securities is third in the hierarchy as adjusting our exposure to stocks is what allows us to have the capital (i.e. dry powder) to take advantage of those undervalued baskets, given they aren’t always available.

The episode length is 17 minutes.
