David Stein

Founder & Investment Expert

For close to two decades David advised and managed assets for institutions and financial planners. He was Chief Investment Strategist and Chief Portfolio Strategist at FEG Investment Advisors, a $15 billion investment advisory firm, where he co-headed the 21-person research group. He also founded, managed, and set the investment philosophy for the firm’s $2.2 billion asset management division.

In his free time you can find David out hiking in the Sonoran desert, fly fishing the trout streams of Idaho, traveling the globe with his family, or relaxing with a classic work of fiction or non-fiction.

Camden Stein

Product & Marketing

Camden began contributing to Money for the Rest of Us in 2017. He joined full-time as a partner in 2022 and currently leads product marketing and product management, along with dabbling in UX and graphic design.

Outside of Money for the Rest of Us, Camden is a landscape painter and illustrator, musician, and global connoisseur of bakeries and bookstores.

Bret Stein

Marketing & Operations

Bret began working with Money for the Rest of Us in 2018. He became a partner in 2022 and currently directs our digital marketing and SEO, as well as many parts of business operations.

Outside of working with us, Bret is an avid landscape photographer, passionate hiker and conservationist, and blossoming handpan enthusiast.

Breanna Stein

Podcast Editing and Transcription

Breanna oversees first-pass editing for the Money for the Rest of Us podcast, as well as transcripts.

Outside of Money for the Rest of Us, she is a skilled ceramicist and outdoorswoman.
